About
Hello dear friend!
I am Liz Schlosser. I am a wife to an incredible man who
loves me despite my many, many flaws and through all the wild adventures and
chaos of life. I am a mother of four amazing kids who I have the privilege of
homeschooling and spending ludicrous amounts of time with.
I love to create, and possibly one of my greatest flaws is
wanting to create and curate beauty in EVERY single thing to the point that
sometimes I end up more in the chaos of creating beauty than enjoying the final
product it might produce. Perhaps that in it self is the more beautiful thing.
I love the sun hitting my skin, spending time in the garden
growing things, and listening to the plants stretch their limbs upwards to the
sky. I enjoy being warm and cozy and all things hygge and lovely. A good book -
although I admit I don't finish every one I start - a joyful cup of coffee,
tea, or glass of wine to enjoy outside or a curled up moment in a hammock or on
the couch sounds like a wonderful way to spend any day of the week. I am often
running around between pouring into my family, spending time with my husband,
and carving time out to create in the many little spaces I can squeeze. I can
collapse and have moments of introverted-ness - a bi product of becoming a
mother I think - but usually enjoy being surrounded by noise and people whether
that's hosting a backyard BBQ or walking a weekend market on my own.
More than anything however I love the Lord with all my heart
and imperfectly try to live out my love and desire to glorify Him in all I do.
I have a deep desire to see young people, especially youth establish a strong
faith that will carry them through the rocky waves of the teens years and carry
them beyond holding onto Christs hand as He leads them.
I have a deep desire to see mothers equipped, encouraged,
and motivated in Christ to live out their God given potential and convictions.
To be the best mothers they can be and the mother God planned them to be for
the sake of the next generation.
I have a deep love for people to know Christ and learn to
fearlessly and uniquely meet others to further the Kingdom of Heaven. My desire
is that the next generations will feel called and compelled to use their
talents and abilities to reach people with the Gospel in ways that break the
mold. That the world will do a double take at the church and wonder what their
missing because of how believers are living. I pray that through everything we
do, "whether we eat or drink, or whatever we do, we will be a people that
do it all for the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). That we equip the
next generation by being examples of, and teaching them to live a life of
interwoven living - Christ in everything, and everything for Christ.
